We flew... well sort of. Wind was off, cloud was low, sun was non existent... but somehow we managed to fly a task, The club class activated their task, which is really good. Three Pilots managed to land altogether in the same field... which made scoring interesting... However. In first place was Tim Swaite, followed by Julian Todd, and Jozef Bardoczy. Next on the list was the rigids.
A strange day with some weird and wonderful things going on... like 4hours.38 mins to get a distance of 0.33 km, Pilots changing their name by deed poll to "Skippy", and the flexwing task winner losing the task. Scores will be on the web site tommorow, cos the bloody pilots are all hanging around me talking rubbish. Especially Gordon. but thats nothing new.
The day got canned. So we had some talks on Ager, and wandered around town for a bit. After that every went somewhere to do something so its nice and quiet in the Fountain, so phil has a chance to sort out all the silly little problems that need sorting. Like getting the scores published.
Due to unforeseen retrieves, Phil will be arriving late at The Fountain for registration. If you have already registered at BOS1 and have the *Dales* waypoints then you are good.
If you need the Dales waypoints and have a USB connection on your instrument, Richard will be in the pub to download from around 9pm
